Change 4 Dade and Chapman Partnership Team Up to Provide Safe Environment for Homeless Youth in Miami-Dade

Every year, around 1.7 million youth in the U.S. experience homelessness without any parental or guardian support. Change 4 Dade and Chapman Partnership aims to address these critical issues by creating a dorm space that will provide safe and supportive accommodations for vulnerable youth in Miami-Dade County who lack stable housing and are at risk of exploitation, substance abuse and various forms of harm. The project addresses the critical need to empower these youth and offer them a renewed sense of hope, stability, and opportunities for a brighter future by transforming the dorm into a welcoming and nurturing environment.

Chapman Partnership manages two Homeless Assistance Centers in Miami and Homestead. The homeless residents at these centers collaborate with their respective case managers to develop tailored and comprehensive plans that assist them throughout their stay. The centers are fully equipped with medical and dental clinics, family dorms, classrooms, cafeterias, Wi-Fi, daycare facilities, basketball courts, and even a dog kennel. The organization ensures that all the necessary resources are provided to motivated residents, allowing them to become self-sufficient.
