Diaz will lead the produce-centric restaurant in the Miami Design District to new heights in its mission to highlight conscious cuisine, focusing on sustainable farm-to-table practices and locally sourced Floridian ingredients. Diaz brings his expertise in fine dining preparation, Michelin Star plating, and menu development to the well-regarded French restaurant. Diaz’s culinary career has been marked by his presence in renowned establishments such as Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, where he served as sous chef in Miami. Before that, Diaz held key positions such as Chef de Cuisine at TUR Kitchen, where his innovative culinary techniques earned him notable recognition, including TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice and Miami New Times Best Mediterranean Restaurant. Diaz’s ability to pay close attention to detail and proficiency in managing food inventory has played a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards and streamlining operational processes.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts from the Hospitality Management School, Diaz pursued specialized certificates in hospitality industry management, supervision, and leadership. He initiated his career as a line cook at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek. He made quick advancements in the culinary field, eventually securing the position of Chef de Partie at Cima Restaurant and later at Grouse Mountain Grill in Colorado.

Le Jardinier Miami, which means “The Gardener” in French, is a culinary experience that collaborates with the Michelin-starred Chef Alain Verzeroli and the global hospitality group, The Bastion Collection.
