While the Vancouver Canucks haven’t played in Rogers Arena since November 19, Vancouver fans filled their home arena with the spirit of their NHL team Saturday night. In the midst of the WWE Survivor Series, which took over the Canucks’ home rink on November 30, the echoing cries of “J.T. Miller” could be heard throughout the stands.

This instalment of the WWE Survivor Series marked the 38th time it was held. The Miller chants broke out in the middle of the main event match featuring Roman Reigns, Jey and Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa) and Bronson Reed. The match ended with Reigns, Zayn, Punk, and the Usos taking down their opponents.
The “J.T. Miller” chants caught fire during the Canucks’ 2024 playoff run, and have stuck around since then. Miller has missed the past five games for the Canucks while on personal leave. His last game was November 17, a 5–3 loss against the Nashville Predators. Despite this, he’s still fourth in scoring on the Canucks with 16 points.
