I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is back with a new group of celebrities all jetting off to Australia for three weeks of rice and bean rations, terrifying tasks, dingo dollar challenges, and the dreaded Bushtucker trials.
Sam Thompson is the current reigning King of the Jungle, while Jill Scott won the 2022 series which saw the ITV reality show returning to Australia after it went on location to North Wales during Covid to crown the Queen and King of the Castle in 2020 and 2021.

ITV’s contest also launched an all-stars version which took place in South Africa and was won by Myleene Klass. Take a look back at all 23 of the winners, both in the jungle and the castle.
Tony Blackburn won I’m a Celebrity in 2002
The first ever winner of the show was radio DJ Blackburn, who deserves extra credit for having no idea what he was letting himself in for.
Phil Tufnell won I’m a Celebrity in 2003
Former England cricketer Tufnell was the next to follow in Blackburn’s footsteps, fighting off competition from John Fashanu and Linda Barker. He later had a successful stint on Strictly, too.
Kerry Katona won I’m a Celebrity in 2004
She was the first ever Queen of the Jungle and also one of two 2004 winners as the show completed two series that year.
Katona was joined in the jungle by a star cast including Katie Price and Peter Andre, who fell in love in camp and would later marry.
Joe Pasquale also won I’m a Celebrity in 2004
The 2004 series was so good, ITV went for another one in the same year — won by squeaky-voiced comedian Joe Pasquale.
Although he was the winner, it was Paul Burrell who went down in camp history that series thanks to his hilarious reactions to challenges.
Carol Thatcher won I’m a Celebrity in 2005
She might not have seemed the most likely winner from the 2005 line-up, but Margaret Thatcher’s daughter managed to beat Sheree Murphy and Sid Owen to the jungle prize.
Matt Willis won I’m a Celebrity in 2006
Busted star Willis was a popular winner in the 2006 contest, where even Myleene Klass and her famous showering bikini couldn’t keep him from being named King of the Jungle.
Christopher Biggins won I’m a Celebrity in 2007
He might not have been the most athletic of the jungle contestants, but Biggins still won over viewers with his entertainment value in camp and provided more cheer than competitors who included Janice Dickinson and Katie Hopkins.
Joe Swash won I’m a Celebrity in 2008
The former EastEnder is something of a reality show king these days, but his I’m A Celeb stint is one of his best remembered gigs as he refused to shy away from even the most disgusting of tasks.
Gino D’Acampo won I’m a Celebrity in 2009
The TV chef overcame a controversy about cooking and eating a rat in the jungle to garner enough votes to be crowned the King of the Jungle 2009.
Stacey Solomon won I’m a Celebrity in 2010
Two years after her now-partner Joe Swash won the show, Stacey Solomon was also crowned Queen of the Jungle — kickstarting her career as a well-loved TV star after first finding fame on The X Factor.
Dougie Poynter won I’m a Celebrity in 2011
McFly musician Poynter managed to beat Mark Wright and Fatima Whitbread to the top spot in 2011 after taking a relaxed approach to life in camp.
Charlie Brooks won I’m a Celebrity in 2012
Her EastEnders alter ego Janine might be the nightmare to be stuck in a jungle camp with, but Brooks won viewers’ hearts with her emotional chats about her young daughter who she was missing.
Kian Egan won I’m a Celebrity in 2013
Westlife singer Egan was the clear series 13 champion from the start as he held the group together through thick and thin, and took on his fair share of challenges with good humour.
Carl “Foggy” Fogarty won I’m a Celebrity in 2014
He wasn’t one of the best-known names going into the show, but Foggy proved a hit with campmates and viewers — and even made such good friends with Jake Quickenden that he very nearly became his father-in-law.
Vicky Pattison won I’m a Celebrity in 2015
Geordie Shore’s Pattison showed a completely different side to the hard-drinking reality star we thought we knew when she triumphed in the challenges and won the 2015 jungle crown.
Scarlett Moffatt won I’m a Celebrity in 2016
Gogglebox star Moffatt couldn’t believe her luck when she crossed over to be the show’s star rather than the viewer in 2016, and the icing on the cake was that she got to meet her heroes Ant and Dec.
Georgia “Toff” Toffolo won I’m a Celebrity in 2017
One of the show’s poshest ever winners, Toff might be used to life in Chelsea but she wasn’t afraid to slum it in the jungle (although she did have Stanley Johnson as her BFF).
Harry Redknapp won I’m a Celebrity in 2018
Possibly the favourite ever King of the Jungle, former football manager Redknapp admitted he’d never watched the show before signing up – but his hilarious moments with the campmates and his unshakeable love for wife Sandra made him a clear winner.
Jacqueline Jossa won I’m a Celebrity in 2019
Jossa was one of those winners whose journey from utter terror of the jungle to being brave enough to win challenges marked her out as the top contestant.
The former EastEnders star was also completely starstruck by Caitlyn Jenner as a huge Kardashians fan.
Giovanna Fletcher won I’m a Celebrity in 2020
Author, podcast host and TV star Fletcher was crowned the first ever Queen of the Castle thanks to her role as the camp mum lifting everyone’s spirits.
This year, she’s supporting husband Tom Fletcher in his time on Strictly Come Dancing after the McFly star and their three sons spent 2020 cheering her on from home.
Danny Miller won I’m a Celebrity in 2021
The unexpected winner of the 2021 series was Emmerdale actor Danny Miller, who became the first King of the Castle.
Miller went into the show when his baby son was just three weeks old, saying his plan had been to set up his fiancee and their child for life with any money earned.
He became known for his close friendship with childhood hero and fellow contestant David Ginola, who many had expected to win.
Jill Scott won I’m a Celebrity in 2022
The Lioness was crowned the Queen of the Jungle on I’m A Celebrity’s first year back down under.
Footballer Scott was a popular campmate from the start, thanks to her can-do attitude to trials and love of having fun in camp.
Scott’s fellow finalists included Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner and former health secretary Matt Hancock, but there was only one possible winner in the eyes of the viewers.
Myleene Klass won I’m A Celebrity: South Africa in 2023
Fifteen former campmates returned to the show for a pre-recorded ‘all star’ edition that was held in South Africa. After finishing second in the 2006 series, pop star and TV presenter Myleene Klass won the series after impressing audiences with her bushtucker trial performances.
Sam Thompson won I’m a Celebrity 2023
Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson was crowned King of the Jungle in 2023. Former professional boxer Tony Bellew was runner-up while former Ukip leader Nigel Farage came third.
Thompson said about the show: “The little moments were the best moments, when Snake Rock camp came back and we had everyone back together, the vibe was so amazing and I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy.”
